Nathan Woelfel Outdoors 2022 Summer Fishing Contest

Think you have what it takes to out-fish me? Well here is your chance!

I am pleased to announce the inaugural Nathan Woelfel Outdoors Summer Fishing contest.

Here is how this will work:

  • Entry is free. This event is open to anyone in the continental United States with a valid fishing license who is fishing public waters.
  • All you need to do to enter is send me a direct message via email or on my Facebook page stating that you would like to enter the contest.
  • You will then receive a unique identifier code. This code must be physically included in any picture submitted for the contest whether it is on a piece of cardboard (like in the photo above), index card, or on your hand, etc..
  • Go fish!
  • Submit photos of your catch via Facebook or email. A ruler or measuring device and your identifier code clearly visible.
  • The longest fish in each category at the end of the event will be deemed the winner
  • Categories include: Bluegill/sunfish, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Crappie, and Carp (because I like ’em).
  • The contest begins June 17, 2022 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on September 5, 2022.
  • Registration will remain open for the duration of the event.
  • Winners of each category will be eligible to receive an assortment of goodies (gift cards, NWO merch, etc.)
  • Those who don’t win a category will receive one entry for a consolation prize raffle for every fish they register.
  • Please follow all local fishing laws and ordinances when participating in this contest. If you plan to release your fish, please be prepared, take photos quickly, and promptly return the fish to the water.

I will feature photos of the leading fish on my Facebook page and will provide regular updates on the current leaderboard.

So what do you say? Let’s have some fun!
